Let’s be honest here, normally I think Perfect Bucket List is the stupidest fucking blog out there. I can’t even imagine that real people submit the crap that gets put into that blog, but this one is probably the only one that I will admit to wanting to do. Cowboys are my weakness. I don’t know whether it’s the bad boy attitude, the accent, the respect they have for their mamas, or their big trucks, but something about them makes my panties drop faster then the Tower of Terror. Secretly, my dream in life is to end up living on a ranch in the country with a cowboy that comes home to me every night so that we can sit on the porch and drink sweet tea and listen to country music while the dogs sit at our feet.
And that, folks, is the complete and honest, overly-detailed truth.

I’ll be honest here, Girls is one of the best series I’ve seen in a while. It’s real, funny and surprising. The biggest surprise I saw tonight was the fact that Adam actually had very deep feelings for Hannah. Feelings that even she couldn’t comprehend. I was even surprised; the “bad boy” falling for the “good girl” is something that happens in old movies, but not real life. But Girls deals with many “real life” situations, so it makes me wonder if the bad boy falling for the good girl scenario really happens. I’ve never experienced it. Sure, I’ve had, and currently have relationships with guys that people could consider a “bad boy,” but never with one so seemingly unattainable as Adam. Yeah, I’ve hooked up with those kinds of people, but I’ve never actually reigned one in and kept one as my own.
I applaud Girls for putting this feature into the show. The face that Hannah was just as surprised as I was when Adam told her he loved her was refreshing. It was especially refreshing to hear Hannah say that she was more scared than most people because I feel that a good amount of people, myself included, are scared of their feelings. For example, the guy I am seeing now is someone that I have very real and deep feelings for, but I am too scared to tell him exactly how I feel. This is strange, because I continue to be afraid to tell him even though he has proved to me time and time again that he feels the same way I do (through his actions), just as Adam did for Hannah when they began their relationship. It’s wonderful to see a character like Hannah who I can relate to on a deeper level in terms of her insecurities.
